    Meltzer Counseling

Meltzer Counseling consists of a diverse group of clinicians with specific specialties and experience. We welcome clients from various multicultural backgrounds, and our goal is to find the best fit for each client’s needs. Our approach is strongly grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Skills, and EMDR:  addressing how our relationship with our thoughts and feelings can contribute to distress or ease in our lives. We align evidence-based research with individual goals to improve both emotional well-being and connections.

Our clinicians specialize in helping both clients and their families with mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anger management, self harm, eating disorders, chronic pain and illness, stress management, communication skills, and family and relationship issues. We provide in person and telehealth therapy to adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. Meltzer Counseling has clinicians that can accept insurance, offer self-pay and sliding-scale fees, and provide free therapy for qualified families.

We have several therapists who specialize in helping both clients and their families with alcohol and chemical dependency issues, children and adults on the Spectrum as well as their families, Behavioral interventions, EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and those that utilize the trauma model to help clients with abuse histories, victims of domestic violence, and PTSD. Meltzer Counseling provides help for adolescents, adults, and families dealing with eating disorders, self-harm behaviors as well as clients with histories of suicidal ideation.

I am an LPC Supervisor with several Licensed Professional Counselor Associates who provide therapy on a sliding scale and Family Tree providers who are able to offer free therapy to qualified families as well. Meltzer Counseling also supervises graduate students who can provide very low-cost counseling services. Please contact us for more information at [email protected] or 972.638.7199
