    LPC Supervision

LPC Supervision provided by Rachel Meltzer LPC-S

LPC Supervision encourages Associates to expand their knowledge, apply new techniques, and develop confidence in building a unique professional identity to become an effective and ethical therapist.

I am currently accepting applications from a limited number of LPC-Associates.

I am approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to provide supervision to LPC-Associates who are working towards the required 3000 supervised hours. Supervision will be based on the guidelines established by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.

Besides reviewing clinical cases, I also cover a wide variety of topics in supervision including, confidentiality, best practices, treatment planning, diagnosing, termination, practice development, and ethical boundaries. Please contact me to set up a face-to-face meeting if you believe we could be a good fit.

Meltzer Counseling Associates are provided numerous learning and networking opportunities. We have a supportive and collaborative culture both within the practice and the larger mental health/Recovery community created to nurture all clinical interests including Trauma work, child and adolescents, families, couples, eating disorders, substance use disorders as well as general psychological or adjustment issues.

Throughout being an Associate there are several focused in-services offered including visiting experts in the field including Psychiatrists and Specialists. Previous ones have included experts/topics on Eating Disorders, Parental Alienation, Best practices in LGBTQ client care, Trauma-Informed work, Ethics, and Grief Work.
