    Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Louisiana State University. She is currently a graduate student at Lamar University working towards her Master of Education in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling.

    During Emily’s eleven years of teaching in the Texas public school system, she noticed a need for mental healthcare for children and adults. This combined with her own therapeutic journey inspired her to follow the path to be able to provide mental health services for others.

    Emily utilizes techniques like Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, among others. She creates a safe and supportive place for clients to heal, make discoveries, and be heard. Emily is committed and honored to helping her clients live their most authentic life.

    Emily welcomes individuals from all backgrounds including children ages six and up, teenagers, and adults that are seeking to improve their wellbeing. She also welcomes couples that need strategies to combat relationship issues. Emily is especially passionate about helping clients with ADHD, codependency, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress management, grief, trauma, and substance abuse.
