• Travis Berg (They, Them, Theirs) Masters level graduate student supervised by Jane Kong LPC-S

Travis attained their Associate of Arts from Collin College, followed by their B.S. in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. Currently, they are working to complete their M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. While in graduate school Travis has worked at Eating Recovery Center in Plano, TX and gained direct experience with patient care, building therapeutic spaces and relationships, and conducting group therapy sessions using various approaches including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

One of Travis’ fundamental beliefs is that everyone deserves to feel heard, supported and encouraged to be the best versions of themselves. Through various educational courses Travis has gained insights into diversity surrounding race, ethnicity, religiosity, and has a deep passion for LGBTQIA+ rights as a queer individual themself. Additionally, they deeply appreciate diversity within their communities and client populations. In the start of their educational endeavors Travis hoped to work with survivors of abuse and assault, but has grown to appreciate a wide array of populations and hopes to continue learning and growing to be able to provide the best therapeutic experience to all their clients. Travis has evening availability and some weekends.  Their direct contact is [email protected]
