    Lucia is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Walden University and completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Capella University. With a background rooted in crisis and trauma work, she brings a deep understanding of the complexities individuals face during difficult moments. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore, heal, and build resilience. Lucia is also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I) and brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals facing substance use challenges. She is currently gaining valuable experience and honing her skills as an intern to better serve the diverse needs of her clients.

    Lucia prefers an integrative approach tailored to empower individuals and couples in their unique journey toward psychological well-being and relational harmony. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in several therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. She is dedicated to providing support to individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and welcomes adolescents and adults. Additionally, as a Certified First Responder Associate, she brings a passionate commitment to supporting first responders and their families. Having undergone training specific to first responders’ unique culture and needs, Lucia is dedicated to offering specialized assistance in this crucial field. Lucia is offering telehealth at this time and is able to offer reduced fee appointments.
