• Char Christmas LMFT masters Level graduate student Supervised by Julia Wesley LMFT-S

Char is a graduate student at Abilene Christian University, pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, with an expected graduation in October 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University.

She is passionate about helping others become their best selves, believing that mental well-being is a crucial foundation for living a fulfilling life. As a woman of color and a working mother of two, she deeply understands the challenges of balancing life’s demands and is committed to guiding others through their journeys toward greater fulfillment.

Known for her empathetic, collaborative, and solution-focused approach, Char works with clients ages 8 and older. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families. She recognizes that seeking counseling is a significant step toward positive change, and she is dedicated to providing unwavering support throughout the process. Her practice is client-specific because she believes that no two clients are alike, and therapy should reflect that. Together, she and her clients work hand-in-hand to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

With a focus on cultural competence, ethical care, and a range of therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing, Char is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for healing. Whether clients are feeling stuck, facing life’s challenges, or simply striving to grow, she offers a compassionate and empowering path forward. Char has both some evening and weekend in person and telehealth availability.
