Sydney Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Wynne Shaw, MA, LPC-S and completed her MA in Counseling from Huntington University.

Sydney provides counseling to adults, children, adolescents, and families with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, loss, divorce, and relationship discord. Sydney has had specific training in Trauma-focused CBT, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and domestic violence. Sydney has worked with under-served adults and children experiencing the effects of domestic violence at The Family Place. Sydney is a member of Christian Counselors of Texas.

With Sydney you will find a non-judgmental and safe space to share your story, and find hope and truth. Sydney’s focus is on empowering her clients to adapt and move through life’s difficulties. Sydney is passionate about incorporating play with therapy for children. For children, toys are their words and play is their language.

Sydney is one of our Family Tree counselors able to provide short-term free family sessions. Sydney can provide Christian counseling upon request.
