MerCedes Lewis Masters Level Graduate Intern Supervised by Jane Kong LPC-S

MerCedes is a Masters Level Graduate Intern of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she is completing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. MerCedes completed a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Texas A&M at College Station.
MerCedes is an optimist and strongly believes in looking at situations with a “glass half full” mentality. She believes in providing a safe environment for her clients to be able to speak freely and openly about their experiences, problems at hand, and their emotions without judgment. MerCedes utilizes different therapeutic techniques such as CBT, reality therapy, and mindfulness when meeting with clients ages 8 and up. One of MerCedes’ biggest passions is to support and help minorities in elementary, middle and high school, with social issues and communication with their communities and families. She also provides support to students and particularly minorities that are transitioning to college.
MerCedes has a reduced fee and is available both in person and via telehealth. She sees individuals ages 8 and up. Evening and weekend appointments available.
