Life has its challenges which can often throw us off our path and/or show us that the path we are on is not in line with the person we want to be. Mary Clare is passionate about empowering people to engage fully in their lives, to bravely live their unique journey while facing and learning from the challenges and joys life has to offer. Her goal is to respectfully challenge you to remain open-minded and compassionate towards yourself as you move along to emotional, mental, physical, spiritual growth and healing.
Mary Clare is committed to providing a safe and supportive space to process what is challenging for you. She works with individuals facing a variety of issues including, substance abuse, trauma, eating disorders, depressions, anxiety, life transitions, and low self-esteem, Mary Clare is a person-centered therapist, meaning she works with each client individually and uniquely. She can provide Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, Mindfulness based Cognitive behavioral therapy (MBCBT) to learn new ways to navigate difficult thoughts, feeling and behaviors. She provides telehealth therapy.
Mary Clare Crocker is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT- 200) in the state of Texas and Colorado. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education, with an emphasis on Special Education and Rehabilitation, and a Master of Arts in Counseling, with an Emphasis on Rehabilitation and Mental Health, from the University of Arizona.
