Lauren Chastant, LPC Associate Supervised by Stephanie Greenberg LPC-S, LCDC
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Stephanie Greenberg, MS, LPC-S, LCDC and earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.
Like most people, Lauren has experienced the highs and lows of life. However, she has also experienced firsthand the powerful positive impact counseling can have on individuals and families. As such, Lauren has a deep desire to support children over the age of 12, teens, and adults, who are facing difficulties that interfere with the lives they want to live. Lauren has experience and a passion for serving individuals and families struggling with developmental, physical, emotional, or other disabilities. She is also an LGBTQ+ ally, familiar with issues related to foster care and adoption, and understands the impact of trauma on our lives.
Lauren strongly believes in the power of vulnerability, authenticity, and non-judgmental curiosity – all of which are needed to implement lasting change in our lives. Lauren values kindness, empathy, compassion, and honesty and as your counselor, will come alongside you to offer unconditional acceptance, guidance, accountability, and encouragement as you take steps toward personal growth and healing.
Lauren’s therapeutic approach is holistic in that she believes looking at the whole of a person’s life is key to uncovering the root cause of issues and discovering ways to move forward. Utilizing evidence-based techniques from various practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Lauren seeks to create a space in which you are safe to share and process your life experiences, thoughts, beliefs, and feelings.
Lauren is currently available Monday-Friday both in-person and via telehealth with evening and weekend availability as well. Lauren may accept Cigna PPO insurance.
