• Anisha DeReddy Masters level Graduate Student supervised by Kelly Knight LPC

Anisha is a graduate student at Northwestern University, where she is on the path to completing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. Anisha completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Anisha is interested in working with clients 18 and above through a multicultural, intersectional, and person-centered lens, making sure to see the entirety of an individual. Anisha is also inclined to see clients in the psychodynamic framework, which involves self-reflection of the past and present and exploration of the unconscious concerns that may be weighing on an individual’s heart, mind, and body.

Anisha is interested in creating a safe space of empathy and respect for all clients. Her distinguishing passion is making the mental health field more inclusive to minoritized populations. She finds value in talk therapy and has a foundational person-centered approach in which clients are seen without judgment and with an empathetic curiosity. Anisha aims to collaborate with clients to find inner peace and live as their most authentic selves.

Anisha practices cultural humility and knows there is never an end to the journey that is cultural competency. Anisha hopes to collaborate with clients to live authentically, gain self-compassion and mindfulness & become empowered. Anisha can act as a soundboard to help collaborate with a client to get to where they want to be.

Anisha is able to offer a reduced fee and can counsel both in-person and via telehealth. To schedule an appointment, you are welcome to contact Anisha directly at (972) 729-9363 or by email at [email protected].
